Welcome To The Circus

Ever notice that politics here in California is like a circus?  Sacramento is like a big top tent with the Governor as a ring leader, complete with donkeys (Democrats), bears (California citizens) and elephants (Republicans).  Instead of peanuts and fire eaters we’re stuck with our fair share of clowns (Politicians).  The tight-rope walkers, the Taxpayers of California, are the ones who take take all the risk. 

Many of us don’t go to the circus regularly and some of us have never been at all. Again, much like California politics, some of us rarely pay attention and even more could care less.   Not surprising when you consider our news cycle reads like pulp fiction.  We’re spoon fed information on a need to know basis by special interest media.  Turn on the TV, watch the morning news.  You’ll see plenty of celebrity gossip and reality stars.

But what about our reality California?

Ever hear much on the news about what laws are passed in Sacramento?  Where California’s $24 BILLIION dollar deficit came from?  Did the Legislature ever balance the State budget?  Guess not…

That’s where Political Calamity comes in.  We’ll give you the news you won’t see on the nightly broadcast with a twist you won’t read about in your morning paper.  Visit daily for information on what’s going on in our State Capital and in our communities.  How the Legislature is voting on your behalf.  And how your tax dollars are being spent.
