Dedicated To The Calamity That Is California And It’s Politics

We find ourselves in a POLITICAL CALAMITY not just in our Nation's capital but here in California as well. Everyday we watch our Country slip farther and farther away from the original vision of our Founding Fathers. We watch as California crumbles underneath the weight of a crushing deficit without the needed leadership to put our state back on track. "We The People" can no longer sit idly by and wait. Take the first step. It is your responsibility to arm yourself with information. You must seek out facts and make up your own mind. No one can tell you how to think, YOU MUST THINK FOR YOURSELF! Part of the reason we are so deeply entrenched in mediocrity is we’ve been all too willing to accept people and their word at face value. We are far too trusting of our Teachers, Main Stream Media and our Politicians. We send our kids to school and expect they will be taught an accurate depiction of History, when in fact History is often rewritten to reflect the views of the “politically correct”. We read newspapers and watch the nightly news and expect we will be told the truth, but instead we’re given agenda based reporting. We elect politicians and trust they will stand by their word and make decisions based on our best interest, only to find we’ve been sold out to special interests. Look around: The herd mentality hasn’t worked out so well, especially here in California. YOU MUST GET INFORMED, BE INFORMED AND STAY INFORMED!

The  U.S. Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration, Refugees, and Border Security will hold hearings today in D.C.   On the agenda: “Comprehensive Immigration Reform in 2009, Can we do it and how”?  This is the first step in mounting support for Amnesty for illegal aliens.

A key member of this subcommittee is California Senator Dianne Feinstein.

In a February Reuters report, it is estimated that in 2008, California is home to 3,200,000 illegal aliens.  That breaks down to about 1 in 8 people in California are here illegally.  The unemployment rate in California is 11.2%.  According to the L.A. Times, in California, the cost to incarcerate illegal aliens convicted of crimes is nearly $1 Billion dollars annually.  Of that cost, the federal government picks up about 12 cents on the dollar of that tab.   The estimated total cost to California due to illegal immigration is roughly $13.1 billion dollars annually.  These are your tax dollars!

Wouldn’t it be nice if the Subcommittee on Immigration could come up with a way to enforce our laws, which would strengthen our economy and our national security, instead of trying to figure out how and if they can reform immigration?

Let Senator Feinstein know how you feel about illegal immigration and amnesty. Email or call her now.
